Kuje Islamic academy holds cultural day

The Islamic Leadership Academy in Kuje Area Council yesterday held its cultural day during which  students and pupils displayed different cultural dances.

Speaking at the occasion, the Vice Principal, Administration,  Abdullahi Suleiman, said the school organised the day to give the students and pupils the opportunity to showcase their cultures.

He noted that the day was also celebrated as a way of engendering unity among the students who come from different cultural backgrounds.

Also speaking, a chieftain of the APC, who is also member of the Parents Teachers Association of the school, Abubakar Sadiq Ahmad, commended the management for organising the cultural day.

He stressed the need for government to accord priority to the tourism sector across the country.
