A total of 75 pupils from three primary schools in Abuja have received the donation of new school uniforms from the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Gwagwalada branch in conjunction with Deen-Breed Consult.

In his address during the occasion of the second public presentation of school uniform initiative, held at Pilot Science Primary School Gwagwalada, Abuja, the branch NUT Chairman, Comrade Isma’il Idris Kehinde, said the gesture was meant to assist pupils attending lessons without uniforms to maintain order

“Now it is our turn to reach out to these children, these incoming and aspiring managers of next generation. This is the reason we are all gathered here today to present 75 uniforms to 75 beneficiaries from three schools, namely LEA Pilot Science School, LEA Dota and LEA Shenagu”.

According to him, the initiative was as a result of the visit of the union to the schools where a number of pupils appeared in tattered uniforms.
