Government urged to improve reading culture

The Vice Chairman, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Kogi State Chapter, Musa Sule Zakari, has called on government to improve reading culture in the country.

Zakari made the call during the launch of his book titled Echoes from the Theatre, in partnership with Service Avalanche, Consults and System Limited, held in Abuja.  He said poor reading skills could make a child develop poor attitude toward school and urged government to improve reading culture among students. He said he wrote the book on poetry to improve reading culture and address the challenges facing the society.  “This is a communication that comes to me through inspiration. There are various sections in the book like social justice, love, religion, death, philosophy, unity, rivers, streams, timing, the moon, among others.
