BREAKING NEWS: Police parade six suspects, launch violent crimes response unit in Plateau

The Plateau State Police Command has launched a Violent Crimes Response Unit (VCRU) as part of efforts to strengthen the fight against violent crimes and promote human rights-based policing in the state. The initiative, designed by the Inspector-General of Police, is aimed at ensuring swift and professional response to emerging security threats while upholding accountability and the rule of law.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Alfred Alabo, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Bassey Ewah, said the establishment of the unit would enhance operational efficiency in tackling violent crimes.
