Tinubu: I Am Wondering What He Would Say To Nigerians When He Begins To Campaign For 2027 — Ahmed

People’s Redemption Party chairman and former permanent secretary Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed has said he doubts President Bola Tinubu will have any credible record to show to Nigerians when he seeks reelection in 2027, citing what he called a complete failure to improve national security. Speaking on Symfoni TV, Baba Ahmed said insecurity across the country has worsened steadily under the current administration.

He pointed to 13 attacks on military bases recorded so far in 2026 and said the armed forces are now reacting to assaults instead of preventing them.
