FG: They’ll Tell You They’ve Killed 20 Insurgents,20 ISWAP,But Number Of Victims Is Increasing-Ahmed

Speaking during an interview on SYMFONI TV, Baba-Ahmed questioned the effectiveness of the government’s current security approach, arguing that attacks, killings and kidnappings continue to rise in different parts of the country. According to him, official statements celebrating the elimination of insurgents do not reflect the daily reality faced by many Nigerians living under constant fear of violence and insecurity.

“They will tell you everyday they have killed 20 insurgents, 20 ISWAP, but the number of people who are victims on daily basis is increasing,” Baba-Ahmed said during the interview.
