A small group of #EndBadGovernance protesters assembled at Gani Fawehinmi Park on Sunday morning, singing solidarity songs shortly after President Bola Tinubu addressed the nation.

The demonstrators expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the President failed to address the core issues they raised, even though he mentioned efforts being made by his administration.

Police and other security personnel remained present at the park.

The police prevented the protesters from marching beyond the designated area at Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota.

Protesters in Jos, the capital city of Plateau State, conducted a church service on Sunday to continue the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests that commenced on Thursday.

According to the Punch, the service was held at the Old Airport Roundabout, attracting a large crowd, including Christian and Muslim leaders, as well as the former Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung.

Protesters carrying Nigerian flags blocked the roundabout, forcing motorists to find alternative routes through the city.

Many of the attendees explained that the church service was crucial because they believe divine intervention could change Nigeria’s situation and benefit its struggling citizens.
