It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diddi Husainatu, beloved mother of Professor Umar Pate, Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashere. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of 70, at Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State, after a long illness.

Diddi Husainatu was a treasured mother and a pillar of strength for her family. Her caring nature and strong faith inspired many. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
