Why Ooni Of Ife Should Do Traditional Pilgrimage In Nigeria — Primate Ayodele

The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has expressed concerns over ongoing global tensions while also making projections about Nigeria’s economic outlook.

Ayodele made the remarks during a prophetic session shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, April 12, 2026, where he addressed issues relating to international conflicts, governance, and economic stability.

Speaking during the session, he questioned the actions of countries involved in the conflict, particularly in relation to human rights: “What they are doing, is it good? Are they not violating human rights? Is that what the world is talking about? This is injustice.

He further commented on the use of power in global conflicts, cautioning against its misuse and highlighting the potential consequences: “Wait. You just strike, bam, bam, bam, because you have to all the power. If you have every power, be mindful. Small person can bring powerful person down.”

Ayodele also referenced Iran’s position in the ongoing tensions, contrasting it with Nigeria’s internal challenges: “Iran have showed America. Nigeria dare not try it. No, Nigeria dare not try it. Why? Because of our level of corruption, injustice that is in our country. We can try it. That is it.”

He went on to make assertions regarding the roles of the United States and Israel in the conflict: “America has failed this. Israel has failed. We say Israel is an holy city. Israel is not an holy city. It’s a devil city. I’m telling you.”

In addition to his remarks on international issues, Ayodele addressed domestic matters, including economic policies and governance in Nigeria: “That’s why I said that let Ooni of Ife do pilgrimage, do traditional pilgrimage in Nigeria. You said that you know this, you know that. Do that pilgrimage to bring money in for Nigeria. Stop borrowing money.”

He further suggested increased utilization of local resources as an alternative to borrowing, while also referencing state-level governance: “Bring government like Taraba, close. Bring them close. Where we have mineral resources, use our mineral resources to get money than borrowing money.”

Ayodele concluded by issuing a warning regarding Nigeria’s economic future: “Nigeria system will collapse. Inflation is coming.”
