The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has responded to allegations that he used his influence without adequate consultation in nominating candidates for various elective offices for the 2027 elections under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Naija News reports that a former governor of the state and Senator representing Gombe Central, Mohammed Danjuma Goje, who is seeking re-election, had rejected the consensus arrangement and called for a primary election instead.
