Zoe Tamunotonye, National President of the Rivers Emancipation Movement, has alleged that Governor Siminalayi Fubara was deliberately misled into joining the APC as part of a political strategy designed to leave him vulnerable to attacks from his opponents within the party.

Speaking in an interview on Silverbird TV, Tamunotonye argued that the governor’s defection was carefully orchestrated to place him in a difficult political position where rival forces could easily turn against him.
