According to a report by The Sun published on Friday, May 15, 2026, Lagos State lawmaker and actor, Desmond Elliot, has publicly apologised to the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, over tensions linked to the recent political crisis in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Elliot made the apology during an appearance on TVC’s programme, “Your View,” where he addressed concerns surrounding the strained relationship between himself and Gbajabiamila.
