BREAKING NEWS: Presidency Confirms Fresh Appointments in Cabinet Reshuffle

According to a report by TheCable on Thursday 21st May 2026, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Professor Segun Aina as the new Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), in a leadership transition expected to take effect after the tenure of the current registrar expires in 2026.

The new appointee, Segun Aina, is a 39-year-old computer engineering professor at Obafemi Awolowo University; He is set to make history as the youngest person ever to head the examination body.
