In a recent interview shared by Arise News, political strategist Awan Hassan offered a sharp perspective on the evolving dynamics ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, particularly within the opposition coalition.
Hassan spoke on the growing prominence of the African Democratic Congress as a rallying platform for opposition figures, including Atiku Abubakar. While acknowledging Atiku’s strong ambition, he cautioned that internal contradictions within the coalition could undermine its stability.
“Atiku is hell-bent on becoming president, and what he doesn’t know is that the explosion of ADC will come soon,” Hassan stated, suggesting that unresolved tensions among key stakeholders may soon surface.
