The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the fixtures on Saturday, with Nigeria starting with a home fixture against Rohr’s men.
Gernot Rohr’s return to Nigeria

The opening match will mark the return of Gernot Rohr to Nigeria since he left as the Super Eagles coach.

Nigeria will face the Cheetahs of Benin before traveling to Rwanda for their second match against the Amavubi, with both games scheduled for September 2024.

Double-Header and Qualifying Conclusion

The three-time AFCON champions will then face a double-header against Libya (Mediterranean Knights) in October. The qualifying campaign wraps up in November with an away match against Benin and a home clash against Rwanda.

The top two teams from Group D will secure their spots in the AFCON 2025 finals, which will be held in Morocco.
