Senior figures at the NFF are big fans of Renard, who is the current Manager of the French women’s national team.
Also on the list of candidates is Eric Chelle, who is available after leaving Mali in June 2024.
Tom Saintfeit, the Philippines boss, is thought to be under consideration too, with the NFF keen to include in its recruitment process managers who understands African football terrain.
The Technical Commitee will lead the decision-making process.
