This is just as the defectors alleged the State Governor, Ademola Adeleke of Nepotism, corruption and lack of respect for due process in the award of contracts.
Two months ago, some stalwarts of the PDP including former member of its Board of Trustees, Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, a Governorship aspirant of the Party in the 2022 Governorship election, Dotun Babayemi and thousands of others defected to the APC.
The event took place at the party Secretariat in Osogbo where they were received by the the minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Here is another set of people from the ruling PDP and ADP in the State pitching their tent with the APC.
They were received by the State Chairman of the APC,Tajudeen Lawal and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland WaterWays, Bola Oyebamiji.
The defectors alleged the Present administration in the State of turning Governance to family affairs.
All the defectors were assured of equal treatment and opportunities with old members of the APC.
