Wike Has 2 Birthdays As A Person; They Say Wike Is Lawyer,You Can’t Hear Any Case He Has Won —Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, the former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, has commented on the background and legal career of Nyesom Wike, who currently serves as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

In a video clip circulated by TV Platinum, Sowore raised questions about aspects of Wike’s personal history and professional record. Speaking during the discussion, the activist addressed the controversy surrounding the FCT minister’s date of birth, alleging that Wike is associated with two different birthdays.

According to Sowore, the existence of multiple birth dates has created confusion among those attempting to determine the exact details of Wike’s early life and educational timeline.

Sowore also questioned Wike’s legal career, noting that although the minister is widely recognized as a trained lawyer, he personally has not come across any well-known court cases in which Wike served as the lead counsel and secured a notable legal victory. He suggested that information about the period when Wike graduated from law school is also not widely discussed or clearly established in public discourse.

Expressing his doubts, Sowore stated that many people simply accept the description of Wike as a lawyer without being able to point to specific legal achievements from his time in legal practice.

In his words, Sowore said: “Nyesom Wike has two birthdays as a person. Nobody can clearly say this is the exact year he graduated from law school. People keep saying that Wike is a lawyer, but you hardly hear of any case he has personally won while practicing law.”

The remarks add to the ongoing political exchanges between public figures in Nigeria, where debates about personal records, professional backgrounds, and political credibility often feature prominently in public discussions. See More
