A major conversation has surfaced regarding the political history and current struggles of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
Former NHIS boss, Professor Usman Yusuf, has come out to defend Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, describing him as the real “architect” behind President Bola Tinubu’s 2023 election victory. Speaking with deep emotion, Yusuf reminded Nigerians that their friendship goes back 50 years to their days at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 1976.
The Professor expressed shock at how the former governor was treated upon his recent return to the country. He questioned why the ICPC is seeking more time to keep him in custody, especially since El-Rufai came back to Nigeria on his own and has his family here.
