Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Senior Advocate of Nigeria Femi Falana shared his views on international developments involving the United States and Iran, while commenting on remarks linked to the U.S. President, Donald Trump.
Falana, a well-known human rights lawyer and public affairs commentator, spoke about the broader implications of global political decisions and how they influence international relations.
“I’m now moving to Iran. And so he went to Iran in a very confused state of mind. He didn’t know what he wanted. He really did not know what would happen in Iran. He wanted to stop Iran, according to him, from developing its nuclear power. He wanted to destroy Iran’s navy.”
According to Falana, international diplomacy and security matters require careful planning and clear policy direction from world leaders.
He noted that decisions concerning military power, nuclear development, and international negotiations often carry far-reaching consequences for global stability.
