Grace Alheri Elisha has given an account concerning the abduction of her relatives by armed bandits and the events that played out in the course of the attack.
She narrated how the young-aged bandits, who were about fifteen in number, stormed her father’s residence and abducted several relatives.
However, speaking during an interview with the Lucky Udu Experience Podcast, Grace Alheri Elisha stated that after her family members were abducted, the kidnappers called and demanded a N100 million ransom, a price that was eventually beaten down to N30 million.
Grace Alheri also narrated how her brother had hidden in the ceiling to escape the abductors and called to inform her that kidnappers had invaded their home.
According to the video, “I got a call from my younger brother, so I was awake; I couldn’t sleep that particular day. When I saw the call, I immediately called back, and when he picked up, he said, “Auntie, I am inside the ceiling; kidnappers are in our house.”
