IGP Egbetokun gave the directive today, today, Saturday 27th July, 2024 at a lecture and crucial conference with Commanders of tactical squads, that is, the PMF, CTU, SPU and others at the Peacekeeping Hall, FHQ Abuja.

The objective of the conference is to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the internal security situation, identify emerging threats, and develop effective countermeasures to strengthen our security posture.

He warned that as tactical Commanders, your operational tact is pivotal in navigating this complex situation.

He charged the to ensure personnel are thoroughly briefed and prepared, maintaining continuous contact with state commands for effective communication and coordination. “Prioritize de-escalation techniques, and remember that force should always be a last resort.”
