The Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele, has opened up about the heartbreaking conditions many Nigerians are facing. While speaking on Lagos Talks FM, he shared a story that has left many people in shock and sadness.
Oyedele revealed that in a particular market in Northern Nigeria, women are intentionally staying thirsty all day.
They refuse to drink water, not because they aren’t thirsty, but because they cannot afford to pay the fee to use the public toilet.
“Look at that level of wickedness,” Oyedele said, expressing deep pain. He explained that these vulnerable women choose to suffer dehydration just to avoid a small charge they cannot afford. See More/Read Original
