Chidi Odinkalu, a well-known advocate for human rights and a past leader of the national human rights commission, has expressed his thoughts on his official X account after a lawyer, who had been reported deceased, showed up in court to finalize a case in Rivers State. In his posts on X, he mentioned that the lawyer came to finish the work for which he lost his life.
The news of a lawyer, who was thought to be dead, appearing in a court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State sparked various reactions after it spread widely on different social media sites.
The lawyer, whose name has not been disclosed to the public, was reportedly killed by strangulation while working on a delicate case in December 2026 and was buried in February 2026. See More/Details
