BREAKING: Iran Claims to Have Struck US Aircraft Carrier in Persian Gulf

According to a report by Reuters on Friday, March 13, 2026, a representative from the Islamic Republic’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that Iran’s Navy had effectively attacked the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Persian Gulf with numerous missile attacks, resulting in heavy damage and the ship’s forced retreat.

An official from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy attacked the USS Abraham Lincoln, rendering it non-operational, according to Iranian state television.

It was also announced by the IRGC that the aircraft carrier was returning to the US after leaving the Persian Gulf.

Rising tensions in the Middle East are the immediate cause of the declaration, which follows a large-scale military assault against Iran on February 28 by the United States and Israel. See More/Details…
