In a recent interview with The Sun on Friday, March 13, 2026, George Ashiru, chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has stated that the party has gained significant political strength with the addition of five lawmakers from Lagos.
He stated that four members of the House of Representatives and one National Assembly member have officially joined ADC, boosting the party’s presence in the state and enhancing its capacity ahead of upcoming elections.
Ashiru explained that ADC already holds four out of the 24 House of Representatives seats in Lagos, the party is determined to retain these seats while aiming to win the remaining twenty constituencies. See More/Details…
