The Federal Government in collaboration with Kano state government, has concluded plans to begin test running of 8-megawatt alternative power generation station, today, Saturday, 14, March.
This was contained in a Public announcement by the Public Relations Officer of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, (HJRBD), Hajia Binta Speaking, on behalf of the Managing Director, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi.
The public announcement was made available to journalists in Kano Friday night.
“In collaboration with Kano State Hydropower and Energy Development Company, (KHEDCO), we are pleased to announce a major milestone in power generation for Kano State. Beginning tomorrow, Saturday, the 14th of March 2026, we will commence a test run of the 8-Megawatt Turbines at our Hydroelectric Generation Facility at Tiga Dam. See More/Details…
