He acknowledged the frustrations of Nigerian youth but emphasized that the government needs time to implement policies and address the country’s economic and social challenges.

“I understand the frustrations of Nigerian youth, but I urge them to give President Tinubu’s administration time to deliver on its promises.

“I’m a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, but I can tell you that I have seen policies that the president has put together.

“And I understand that this is a nation of 250 million people. These policies will not begin to metastasize itself in less than one year, but after a period of time, Nigerians will begin to see some of these little, little things,” Alex said in an interview with newsmen.

Mascott also revealed that the Endsars protest in 2020 motivated him to join politics.

“The events of October 2020, particularly the Lekki toll gate incident, propelled me to join politics. I realized that change cannot be achieved through protests alone, but through active participation in the political process,” he said.

The lawmaker commended the youth for their activism but cautioned against hasty actions.

“I commend the youth for their enthusiasm and commitment to reform, but I urge them to take a step back and consider the potential consequences of their actions. We must not allow enemies of Nigeria to hijack peaceful protests and carry out malevolent plans,” he added.
