The Ministry of Health has confirmed that all health workers have so far been cleared to receive their outstanding salaries and allowances.
Speaking on the Channel One Newsroom on Saturday, March 14, the Ministry’s spokesperson, Tony Goodman, said the government has taken steps to ensure all pending payments are addressed.
“So far, all have been cleared in the sector. The good news is that the Minister for Health and the Minister for Finance have worked to clear these allowances and salaries,” Goodman said.
He added that with the arrears addressed, the Ministry is now focusing on recruiting additional staff to strengthen healthcare delivery nationwide. See More/Details
