Ekiti 2026: Accord Party Denies Alliance With APC, Promises Free Healthcare, Prompt Payment Of Gratuity

The governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Ekiti State, Opeyemi David Falegan(ODF), has ruled out any possible alliance with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the June 20, 2026, poll.

Addressing members of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners in Ado Ekiti, comprising retired civil servants and elderly residents, the AP gubernatorial candidate clarified that he is not a placeholder for any candidate or political party, stressing that he is not working with Governor Oyebanji or any other gubernatorial candidate.

He said, “I want to make it clear to the people of Ekiti that I have no agreement or alignment with anyone. I am not working with Governor Oyebanji or any other gubernatorial candidate. I am contesting under the Accord Party, and by the grace of God, we are in this race to win.” See More/Details
