According to a report by The Sun on Sunday, March 15, 2026, the rising tide of political defectors joining the governing All Progressives Congress has alarmed Alhaji Shuaibu Ado Dansudu, National President of the Arewa United Consultative Forum.
He went on to say that people in Nigeria’s political system are beginning to wonder what kind of devotion and loyalty politicians have when they join the ruling party.
Dansudu pointed out that loyal and honest members of the ruling party find it hard to publicly rejoice over the recent influx of defectors due to the erratic actions of numerous leaders in the nation.
