Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to reports about the alleged defection of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed with a satirical warning directed at Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
In a social media post on Sunday, March 15, 2026, Sani advised Makinde that if he tries to reach the Bauchi governor on any major network, MTN, Airtel, or Glo and the calls fail to connect, he should accept that he is now on his own.
Sani wrote, “Dear Makinde, if you call Bala on his Mtn and the line is not going through, call his Airtel and if not going through try his glo. If all lines not going through, you are OYO; On your own.”
The comment followed reports claiming that Mohammed, who currently serves as the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, has concluded plans to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC). See More/Details
