Requirements for DESPO Weekend Programmes Admission
To qualify for the DESPO Weekend Programmes Admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
National Diploma Programme
- O’Level Requirements: Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. These should be obtained from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Higher National Diploma Programme
- O’Level Requirements: Same as the ND programme.
- ND Certificate: Must have an ND from an NBTE-accredited Polytechnic.
- Work Experience: Candidates with a pass in ND must have at least two years of post-qualification experience.
- Visit the application portal: Apply for DESPO Weekend Programmes
- Select Weekend Application Form.
- Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000) online using Verve or Master Debit Card.
- Complete the Form: Fill out and submit the online application form with all required information.
- Print Forms: Print two copies of the online acknowledgment form to complete your registration.
Screening Process
The date for the screening exercise will be announced soon. Ensure you bring writing materials, including an HB pencil, and the following documents:
- Four recent passport-sized photographs (one attached to each of the application/screening forms and two acknowledgment cards)
- Bursary receipt for the purchase of the forms
- Certificates/Statements of Result
