The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Pius Akutah, has urged leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. He recently had his say during a visit to the residence of a former Benue Governor, Samuel Ortom, where party leaders gathered for an expanded caucus meeting in the state.
According to him, he visited Benue to identify with leaders and members of the PDP who have already shown support for the administration of President Tinubu and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
Pointing to projects initiated by the Tinubu administration in Benue, he stressed that such initiatives should encourage residents of the state to support the president’s re-election bid.
His words, “My presence here is to identify with leaders and members of the PDP who have already shown support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
I came here personally to appeal to respected leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party to adopt President Bola Tinubu as their candidate in the 2027 presidential election.
As a son of Kwande, I have made myself available to serve the people if given the opportunity.”
