According to a news report by Vanguard Newspaper, Nollywood star Regina Daniels has leveled serious allegations against her estranged partner, Senator Ned Nwoko, claiming he has orchestrated a campaign to isolate her from friends and family. The actress, in a late-night Instagram post, detailed what she described as Nwoko’s calculated efforts to leave her without support systems.

Daniels revealed disturbing patterns of control, alleging Nwoko had her phones confiscated for extended periods and falsely declared her mentally unstable whenever she attempted to leave their relationship. She maintained these actions were deliberate tactics to make her emotionally dependent on him.

The conflict reached new intensity following Nwoko’s legal petition that resulted in the arrest of Daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, on charges including assault and theft. This development came shortly after Daniels’ emotional public breakdown in an October 18 video where she lamented her treatment in Nwoko’s household.

While Nwoko has consistently framed Daniels’ behavior as stemming from substance abuse issues requiring rehabilitation, the actress countered that these claims merely serve to divert attention from what she characterizes as his controlling nature. She emphasized their relationship lacked legal standing, with no formal marriage ever contracted.

She said; “You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me, no friend, no support, no safe place to turn to. Then when I’m completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you because I will have nowhere else to go.”
