Olu Martins, made the claim in a statement he issued Friday in Benin City. The statement read in part, “Several renowned television stations have made repeated calls for his (Okpebholo) appearance, and all such calls have proved abortive. “Even Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was begged by a TV station to bring him, but the man continues to run away from all such public engagements. “We believe that another golden opportunity has presented itself again. The statement added that the PDP candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, “has continued to engage the people of Edo state on all known electronic platforms.” The PDP spokesman expressed the PDP candidate’s readiness to “at whatever time and location debate the candidate of the APC on any physical forum or on reputable radio and television stations.”
