Aduke Royal Schools Pledges Quality Education, Bids Pupils Farewell

The 2024 Graduation and Prize-Giving Day of Aduke Royal Schools, a private school in Lagos, has come and gone, but the teachers and students are still savoring the excitement of the ceremony that marked the final exit of the outgoing students from the school. While congratulating the graduating students on the completion of their education in the school and overall performance, he, however, gave kudos to the members of staff and parents for the growth and development of the school.

The Proprietor, who was full of optimism and high hope that Aduke Royal Schools would continue to set the pace, recounted the uniqueness of the school in the provision of an enabling learning environment through adequate facilities and relevant instructional materials that make learning easy and attractive to the pupils.

Usman, however, listed these facilities to include regular power supply, provision of computer education and digital skill acquisition, which are compulsory as an integral part of the school curriculum.

Apart from the academic development of the children, the school, according to him, also nurtures and brings up the pupils in the context and tenet of Islam by inculcating in the learners virtues of discipline, forthrightness and sincerity of purpose, and above all to handover to the society globally citizens of the world in the true sense of quality education delivery.

The Head of School, Hajia Tanimola Atoyebi, who expressed joy over the huge turnout of parents and guests to this occasion, lauded the parents for their support, saying this has resulted in the laudable achievements recorded by the school in academic and extracurricular activities, sports and educational programmes during the school year.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the ceremony, Alhaji Lamina Adebayo Isiaka, who is also the school’s PTA Chairman applauded the teachers and other members of staff for their commitment in raising the children in a godly way.

Also, he lauded the management for the quality of teachers in the school and the drive to raise globally-appealing learners, who will be internationally versatile as change agents.

Some of the activities and presentations by the pupils to thrill the guests and parents include cultural displays in different ethnic groups in the country, the Islamic/Quran recitation, choreography, among other activities, such as debate and quiz.

Prof Owolabi’s Education Corner with New Telegraph Newspaper, which was at the event, congratulated the management and schools as they look forward to a successful 2024/25 school year.

Prof Owolabi, Founder of Prof Owolabi’s Education Corner, said the message of the school concerning this year’s ceremony is that “our education must be celebrated, the children must be celebrated, and the parents must be celebrated in recognition of their development to nation building.

“The Quran recitation was deep, emotional, touchy and highly rhythmic. The recitation attracted applause and loud ovation from parents and guests, who showered cash and other gifts on the children.

The recitation showed how the school and parents love Islam, Quran and tenets of Islam as impacted on their children,” Owolabi stated.

The 2024 graduation was supported by a number of corporate organizations and parents who sponsored some of the events and donated various gift items and prizes that were presented to pupils that distinguished themselves in their academic work and other extra-curricular activities during the school year.

Accordingly, cash prizes were presented to some pupils who participated in the graduation debate by Mrs Hammed which were also donated by a non-governmental organization to boost corporate social responsibility for education advancement.
