Although Donald Trump has repeatedly insisted that the United States is close to winning its conflict with Iran, there is growing scepticism over the claim. Since the joint US-Israeli attacks on Iran, oil and gas prices have surged after strikes targeted some of the Middle East’s most important gas infrastructure.
