The Chief Imam of University of Ibadan, Professor Ibrahim Uthman, has declared that there is no justification for any Muslim in Nigeria to go against the directive of the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, who doubles as President-General of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
Uthman, a professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies, made this declaration on Friday shortly after he led the Muslim congregation to observe the two obligatory Rakat in commemoration of this year’s Eld-Fitri festival.

Ibrahim while addressing the gathering, noted that the Sultan of Sokoto has unified Nigerian Muslims and has eradicated all the imbalances between the North and the South, especially on issues concerning Ramadan fast. See More In Details…
