SABAHA CAME TO ISTANBUL
The Yellow-Reds recruited Naples’s Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for a year. Victor Osimhen came to Istanbul in the morning.
Osimhen came to Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal by private plane with Galatasaray Board of Directors Member İbrahim Hatipoğlu and Football Director Cenk Ergün. The Nigerian footballer was welcomed by thousands of yellow-red fans at the airport.

Galatasaray announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that “official negotiations with the footballer and club SSRN Napoli SPA on the temporary transfer of Professional Footballer Victor James Osimhen have begun.”
Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen agreed to pay a salary of 9-10m euros by the end of the season, and there was no purchase option.
THE FIRST FRIENDLY WITH THE ROAD KING
In the 2022/2023 season, Osimhen played an important role in Naples’s first Serie A championship 33 years later and finished as the top scorer of 26 goals, becoming the first African player to achieve this in Italy.
He made 133 official appearances for Naples, scoring 76 goals and 18 assists.
