Professor Usman Yusuf has criticized the continued detention of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, describing it as unfair and dangerous for Nigeria’s democracy.
Speaking during an interview shared by SYMFONI TV, Yusuf explained that even though he strongly disagreed with El-Rufai’s actions while he was governor, it does not justify staying silent if he is being treated unjustly now. He stressed that fairness should apply to everyone, no matter their political background.
