Former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Dachung Bagos, has opened up about the need for a fair and functioning justice system that properly addresses the grievances of all parties in the persistent farmer-herder conflict.
He revealed that he condemns the killing of any life regardless of tribe or religion, and strongly believes that a properly functioning justice system is the only lasting solution to the cycle of retaliatory violence.
According to the lawmaker, when cattle are killed or farmlands are destroyed, those aggrieved parties must be able to seek justice through the courts rather than launching deadly reprisal attacks on innocent communities.
