According to a Monday 6 of April 2026 report by ABC News, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that its intelligence chief, Majid Khademi, was killed in an overnight attack, as hostilities across the Middle East continued with missile and drone fire reported in multiple countries.
In a statement, the IRGC’s public relations arm said Khademi died in a strike it attributed to the “American-Israeli enemy.” His death marks another high-level loss within Iran’s military leadership during the ongoing conflict.
