The Defence Headquarters is reviewing operations in the North West Zone to improve synergy and effectiveness. A new operation, “Operation Fansan Yamah,” will be launched soon, operating under one commander, similar to “Operation Hadin Kai” in the North East and “Operation Delta Safe” in the South-South.
Musa called on communities in the North West to stop supporting or providing information to terrorists, citing an incident where locals informed terrorists about stuck troops. He emphasized the importance of community cooperation in defeating adversaries.
The military is working with other security agencies and state governments to provide protection for citizens. Musa assured Nigerians that the armed forces will continue to lead efforts to rid the country of security threats, citing progress in the North East, North Central, and South East regions.
