He revealed that he was thrown from a two-storey building, an incident that left him in the hospital for six months.

Speaking on Talk to B podcast, the actor opened up about how he first learned the truth of what happened.

For a long time, he had only heard bits of the story.

When he finally met his mother, he asked her directly if it was true that he fell from a two-storey building as a young child.

His mother confirmed that it was true. She explained that the family used to live in an upstairs apartment at that time.

A child who loved carrying Ray around was playing with him on the balcony. The child was throwing him up in the air and catching him during their play.

But then something went very wrong. The child threw him off the two-storey building. The fall caused terrible injuries.

Ray was taken to a general hospital, where he stayed for six months to recover.

His words: “When I first met my mother, the first question I asked her was whether it was true that I fell from a two-storey building when I was younger. She said yes, that it was true. She said they used to live upstairs at that time, and there was this child that loved carrying me. While he was throwing me up and playing with me on the balcony, he threw me off the two-storey building. I then spent six months in the general hospital.”
