Chelsea legend, John Terry, has expressed disappointment over the sacking of manager Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea had earlier today confirmed Maresca had left his role as manager by mutual consent.
Maresca’s departure came less than 6 months after he led the Blues to the FIFA Club World Cup.
Reacting, Terry said on TikTok, “Enzo Maresca has just been sacked by Chelsea and to be honest, I’m completely shocked I didn’t see it coming.
“I have had so many phone calls this morning after the news and everyone expects me to know what is happening. I have not got a clue what is happening. I’m not involved in the first team so I don’t know.
“I’m disappointed, but there is still loads to play for this season, Champions League, Carabao Cup, so whoever comes in has a lot to play for. As players, you’ve to get on with it and step up and deal with it.”
