In a recent video on Facebook, Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has forecast major political changes in northern Nigeria, warning of a possible shift in allegiance away from the ruling party and internal divisions among key political actors. In a recent address, Ayodele claimed that support for the All Progressives Congress may decline significantly in the North within weeks. “In a couple of two to three weeks, the northerners will adopt the African Democratic Congress, not APC,” he said. “They will not want anything APC in the place.”
