The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has announced the commencement of a fresh recruitment exercise for qualified and interested Nigerians to fill vacancies in the organization.
The FIRS, in a public notice issued on Monday, 23rd December, said it is seeking experienced professionals to fill various vacancies in the service.
Naija News reports the recruitment portal will be open from Monday, 23rd December 2024, and the deadline for submission is 11th January, 2025.
The public notice urged all interested applicants to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. It added that those applying should be ready to make an impact in public service and contribute to national development.

Meanwhile, elder statesman and leader of the Ijaw nation, Edwin Clark, says the proposed tax reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu must proceed.
This is as he called out the governors of the northern states over their opposition to the tax reform bills which are currently before the National Assembly.
Speaking during the Sunday edition of Inside Sources with Laolu Akande on Channels Television, Clark said most of the northern governors don’t know what they are doing.
