A Lagos-based content creator and thrift business owner known as Fems Thrift has accused an unidentified man of sexually assaulting her and a friend after allegedly luring them with a fake modelling offer in Ajao Estate, Lagos State. According to a report by The Punch, she said the suspect contacted her via Instagram on February 1, 2026, claiming to run an international fashion brand after relocating from the UK and offering her N140,000 for a modelling job.

She said they arrived for the shoot on February 8 but later became suspicious before the situation allegedly turned violent.
