Media entrepreneur and politician Dele Momodu has shown his belief in the political impact of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential nominee, Peter Obi, in Nigeria’s South-East, claiming that no amount of money will suffice to overcome him in that area as long as he is running.

During a discussion on Nevon HQ, on Tuesday, 7 July, 2026, Momodu stated that Obi has considerable backing throughout the South-East, labeling the former governor of Anambra State as a key political player in the region.
